Installing ZawGyi-One keyboard and configuring Language
Everyone who wish to write and contribute must install the font,
keyboard and configure for language.
1. Download and install the Zawgyi-One font.
Details installation of font download and installation is avaiable on
Follow instructions on

2. download the latest Zawgyi Myanmar Keyboard
http://www.planet.com.mm/download.cfm
3. Extract the files and run the installation program
4. Goto Start->Setting->Control Pannel->- Click on Regional and Language Options
- Click on Languages Tab
- Click on Details Button
Under Text Services and Input Languages Click Add.. Button
In Add Input Language (Keyboard Layout/IME drop down menu,
choose Zawgyi-One [ probably at the bottom of the dropdown list ]
- Click OK
You will see Zawgyi under Keyboard in the Text Services and Input Languages window
- Click on Key Settings Button
- Click "yes" when ask whether you wanna to appy the keyboard layout chagnes now.
- In Advanced Key Settings Window, Just press OK button. The window will close.
- Back on Text Services and Input Languages, now...you will see
a button called "Language Bar", Click on that
- Make sure "Show the language bar on the desktop" is checked.
Just Press OK...OK...Apply and OK and close all the windows...
Hopefully by now, you already have registered on ainmat
- Login to Ainmat Control Pannel
to type in burmese press Right side (Control and Shift buttons together once)
to change back to English press that again.
Now you can easily type both languages easily and toggle by pressing
right side ( Control and Shift buttons together )
WE recommend yousave your writings in Microsoft Word or other applications
for your own reference and backup.

When I key in or copy and paste inside the "New Entry" , all my sentences become very messy. I cannot find any aligner or something that I can align. I used "Space Bar" and "Enter Buttom" on keyboard to align them but all the sentences become messy again after I saved. Pls kindly let me know the solution.. thanks in advance!

Please don't use "Enter" key to seperate lines...unless it's for dividing paragraphs...
Try to keep SINGLE space between group of words as much as you can....currently by default it's aligned justified...
Example:
you should type it all together without "Enter" like this

ကြ်န္ေတာ္ ၿမန္မာ၀က္ဆိုဒ္ နဲ႔ ဖိုရမ္ တစ္ခု လုပ္ေနပါတယ္။ ေဇာ္ဂ်ီေဖာင့္ ကို သံုးပါတယ္။ ၀က္ဆိုဒ္ လာသူေတြ အတြက္ ေဇာ္ဂ်ီေဖာင့္ install လုပ္ႏုိင္ရန္ ဒီ instruction ေလးကို ကြ်န္ေတာ့္ ၀က္ဆိုဒ္မွာ သံုးခြင့္ေပးႏုိင္ပါမလား။

Admin yal.....
I tot tate sate nyit nay pyi.. I can not set Zaw Gyi font in my computer. It makes me to crazy now. I try to set language for a whole day, but it did not success. I think my computer is blocked to setup any of fonts. Crazy!!!!
Can you help me and give me any suggest??

ဟုတ္တယ္။ ဖါတ္တာေတာ့ အဲဒီ Zawgyi-One Keyboard နဲ႕ Zawgyi-One Font ကို install မလုပ္ပဲနဲ႕လည္း ဖါတ္လို႕ ရတယ္။ ကၽြန္ေတာ့္ ကြန္ျပဴတာမွာ ရတယ္။ တျခား ကြန္ျပဴတာေတြမွာေတာ့ မေျပာတတ္ဘူး။ ဒါေပမယ့္ ေရးလို႕ေတာ့ လံုး၀ မရဘူး။ ကၽြန္ေတာ္ အရင္ ျမန္မာေဖါင့္ေတြ ရွိတာေတာင္ မွ “အိမက္မ်ား” ၀က္ဗ္ဆိုက္ ေပၚမွာ ေရးလို႕ မရတာ။ ကၽြန္ေတာ္ အရင္က Win Researcher Fonts ကို သံုးဖူးေတာ့ Zawgyi-One Fonts နဲ႕ ႐ိုက္ရတာ မခက္ဘူး။ Keyboard ခလုတ္သံုးပံုက အတူတူပဲေလ။
Install နဲ႕ configure လုပ္ရတာေတာ့ အရမ္းလြယ္တယ္။ ၿပီးေတာ့ instruction ေရးေပးထားတာကလည္း အရမ္း ရွင္းတယ္။ Instruction က Windows XP အတြက္ ေရးထားေပမယ့္လည္း ကၽြန္ေတာ့္ရဲ့ Windows Vista မွာလည္း လုပ္ရတာခ်င္း အတူတူပဲ။ နည္းနည္းပဲ ကြာတယ္။ “အိမ္မက္မ်ား” ၀က္ဗ္ဆိုက္ ရဲ့ စာမ်က္ႏွာ ေအာက္ပိုင္းမွာ Font Download, Font Layout နဲ႕ Font Install ခလုတ္ေတြ ကို သံုးပါ။ Font Download လုပ္တဲ့အခါ လိုအပ္တဲ့ instructions ေတြလည္း zip file ကို extract လုပ္တဲ့ အခါ ပါ၀င္ပါလိမ့္မယ္။ ကၽြန္ေတာ့္ ကြန္ျပဴတာမွာေတာ့ Zawgyi-One ေဖါင့္ ဟာ extract လုပ္ၿပီးသြားတဲ့အခါမွာ ေအာ္တိုမတ္တစ္ fonts folder ထဲမွာ copy/install လုပ္သြားတယ္။ တကယ္လို႕ မလုပ္ဘူးဆိုရင္လည္း ေဖါင့္ ေကာ္ပီလုပ္ၿပီးေတာ့ control panel ထဲက fonts folder ထဲမွာ copy & paste ဒါမွမဟုတ္ install new fonts နိပ္ၿပီး install လုပ္လို႕ ရပါတယ္။
Zip file ေတြကို unzip/extract လုပ္ဘို႕ application မရွိေသးရင္ ဒီ ခလုတ္ ကိုနိပ္ၿပီး အင္တာနက္ကေန အခမဲ့ ယူပါ။
ေဖါင့္ နဲ႕ keyboard ေတြကို install လုပ္ၿပီသြားေတာ့ ဖြင္းထားတဲ့ applications ေတြကို ပိတ္ၿပီး ျပန္ဖြင့္ပါ။ ဒါမွ IE, Firefox နဲ႕ word processor စတဲ့ applications ေတြက ေဖါင့္ကို မွတ္မိ (recognize) လိမ့္မယ္။
မရွင္းတာရွိရင္ ဒီမွာ ေမးခြန္း ေမးပါ။

Hello-I've installed both the font and the keyboard on my Burmese friend's computer, but cannot write in Burmese on his gmail account or in any word application (wordpad is what he has right now). Is there something I'm not doing? I followed the instructions to the letter. Help!
